My husband and father were installing a new back door in my house one Sunday. I wanted to get out of their way so my mother and I took my son and had a blast!
It was very easy to find and parking was a breeze. We headed right for "The Shed" which is where you get your wrist band and tokens for the different activities. We spent about 3 hours there exploring the grounds.
We decided to leave the hayride to the pumpkin patch for last so we didn't have to carry around the pumpkin. First we entered the animal area. They had goats, a donkey, chickens and pigs that you can pet and feed. There were pedal cars and some trikes to ride but my little guy was too small for them. The "Cow Train" was adorable and was a pretty long ride. Each cow had a name so of course he had to sit in the one named Geo (he loves Team Umi Zoomi).
After that we tried out the duck racing. It is such a simple idea and the kids were going crazy over it!
The pony ride was definitely the highlight of this area. He climbed right up and was smiling ear to ear the whole time.
We decided to try the corn maze next. This was actually tricky even for the adults!
The hayride to the pumpkin patch was short and bumpy, and he loved it! Most of the pumpkins were still on the vine and there were still so many to choose from!
Now as a mom with a young child I thought I would share that there are real bathrooms with a hand washing station. How nice to not have to use a Port-a-potty!
We will be back here again next year for sure!
US Family Guide and Wright Family Farm provided me with tickets and vouchers for our visit, however we did use our own money to pay for the pumpkin. Regardless, my opinions are my own and I will always be honest with you, good or bad!
